Vienna International Airport is about 20km southeast of the inner city. To reach the centre, you can either take

  • the City Train S7 (departure every 20 minutes, travel time 30 minutes, costs €4,20 per direction
  • the City Airport Train (CAT) (departure every 30 minutes, travel time 16 minutes, costs €17 for two directions) CAT schedule
  • a taxi (costs ~ €35). You can call a taxi at +43 1 40100. The taxi stand at the airport is directly in front of the arrival-/departure hall.

Information about departure times you can get under the telephonenumber +43 5 1717 or on the web at www.oebb.at. Many long-distance busses stop at bus stop stations, which most probably are attached to train stations.
